4H really enjoyed sharing everything they’ve been learning about the Iron Man this half term during their class assembly last Friday.
Like Hogarth, 4H learnt that what we worry about might actually be something good so we should be brave and overcome our fears. The class certainly managed to overcome any ‘stage fright’ when they recited their ‘story map’ to the rest of the school and their parents and carers.
The children shared some impressive similes as well as some of their own suspense stories based on the Iron Man. The class demonstrated their map reading skills when they had to locate the parts of the Iron Man on the school grounds to put him back together again! The children also shared some of the hockey skills they have been learning in PE as well as their art work based on the illustrations of Chris Mould.
Like the Iron Man, the children in 4H strive to be the best they can be. Using the Hamstel Habits of courage, determination and excellence, the children finished their assembly with the song Roar!
Well done 4H.
