4H shared what they’d learnt about the King’s coronation during their class assembly at the end of last half term. From an explanation about what the flowers on their commemoration badges signified to the history of Westminster Abbey, the children impressed with their knowledge. Their drawings of crowns and accompaniment of the national anthem on the glockenspiel were really superb! The children then retold the story of Beowulf with some great sound effects! 4H enjoyed sharing some of their ‘Beating the Monster’ stories accompanied by their own illustrations.
The assembly finished with the children sharing facts about the Vikings and a song about a champion and a hero!
Well done to all of 4H and thank you to all the parents and carers who came along to watch.
