3H delighted their audience with a lively assembly, opening with a humorous song describing just how “naughty” the class supposedly is—much to everyone’s relief, this was quickly revealed not to be an accurate description at all!

The children explained that they had ‘vaguely’ heard of the Hamstel Rights and went on to confidently demonstrate their excellent understanding of the Hamstel Habits, sharing what they have been learning this term.

The class then treated everyone in the audience to readings of their fantastic fantasy stories, delivered with real expression and passion. Inspired by their teacher’s words, “You won’t know if you can do it unless you give it a go,” the children showed great courage by performing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star on the glockenspiel.

In science, the children shared their learning about balanced diets before teaching the audience about some of the major bones in the human body – helpfully set to a song, as there are so many to remember! After some impressive explanations of their mathematical thinking, the assembly concluded with another lovely song, ‘Never, Ever Give Up’.

Thank you to 3H for such a confident, informative, and enjoyable assembly.
