3B took everyone on an adventure in last week's assembly as they shared just how much they have loved reading Nim's Island! Just like Nim, they have shown resilience when faced with challenges, discovered new talents and embraced every opportunity to learn something new.

Unlike Nim, who had to use the sun to tell the time, 3B impressed everyone with their maths knowledge by explaining how to read an analogue clock. They also put their French skills to the test by discussing the fruit Nim might have eaten and proudly shared how much they enjoyed making their own delicious flatbread.

The children showed real thoughtfulness when discussing which animals would make the best companions and wowed the audience with their fantastic writing. Like Nim, they are keen nature lovers, understanding exactly what plants need to thrive, and they have created some beautiful natural artwork inspired by Andy Goldsworthy.

Their journey through Nim's Island has been full of discovery, creativity and adventure, and this shone through in in their assembly. To finish, 3B sang a song with the inspiring message, "Be brave and try everything!" Judging by all they have achieved this year, that is certainly a motto they have taken to heart. Well done, 3B – you really have been brave enough to try everything!
