4W Class Assembly

Beowulf by Michael Morpurgo proved to be fantastic inspiration for 4W’s class assembly on the final day of last half term. Accompanied by expressive actions, the children confidently recited parts of the story, showcasing rich language and truly impressive memorisation skills.

The children went on to share more of their fantastic learning, presenting examples of the writing techniques they have developed throughout Year 4. It was clear to see how much progress they have made and how proud they are of their work.

It’s not just English that 4W enjoy. The class also gave a glimpse into their learning across the curriculum, sharing work from history, RE and French, before demonstrating their teamwork and enthusiasm through an energetic display of basketball skills.

The assembly concluded with an original performance, The Norse King. With great enthusiasm, the class performed their song, complete with creative actions, leaving the audience thoroughly impressed.
