It was lovely to see 4M’s obvious enjoyment of their class reading book Billy and the Minpins in their assembly last week.  The children shared the techniques they have been learning in art with their water colour paintings and demonstrated some of their maths learning by describing a Minpin’s height relative to their own!  The children really impressed with their glockenspiel playing, which would have definitely lifted the Minpins’ mood.  In science lessons, the class has been learning about food chains and the flow of energy.  The audience learnt that Minpins were prey for the Gruncher, but reassured the audience that if it were to ever appear on our school field, they could outrun it thanks to their PE lessons.  4M finished their assembly with their song I can see clearly now the Gruncher has gone!

Thank you 4M for a lovely assembly.
