Star Author - Chrissie Sains

This week, the children in years 3 and 4 were thrilled to welcome star author Chrissie Sains to Hamstel Junior School, where she shared the magic of her brand-new book, Beastopia!

Chrissie arrived with a treasure chest full of mysterious objects that she uses to spark ideas for her stories. The children were fascinated as she revealed how she dreams up her incredible mythical creatures before joining in to create their very own unique beasts.

Everyone was encouraged to think creatively and ask the exciting question, “What if beasts are real?”

It was a truly inspiring visit that left the children buzzing with excitement to read, write, and explore the imaginative world of Beastopia even further.
