6E shared what they have been learning about their topic Conflict and Cooperation this term during their class assembly.
The children shared their knowledge of the different wars that this country has been involved in over the last 110 years, from the two World Wars to the Falklands War.
‘Grandma’ and ‘Grandpa’ enjoyed hearing about what the children have learnt through their diary entries and artwork inspired by Henry Moore. The children also shared information about some of the planes they’d seen during their recent trip to Duxford including a Spitfire, Hurricane and Messerschmitt!
The children enjoyed singing We’re Going to Hang out the Washing on the Siegfried Line and dancing the Lambeth Walk to demonstrate that it wasn’t all ‘doom and gloom’!
