6Du impressed the school with their knowledge of WWII during last Friday’s class assembly. From the Blitz to being evacuated, the children demonstrated what it might have been like to have been a child during this period of history. The children shared what they’d learned about Digging for Victory and Make Do and Mend as well as their writing and art! The children’s singing and dancing showed that even during the Darkest Days of the war, people came together to support each other.
