4M Class Assembly

4M posed the question, ‘Should Hamstel Junior School be ruled by the Romans?’ during their class assembly last week.  The children introduced the audience to the different Roman gods who gave several ways in which they could make the school better – Saturn, the god of time, was particularly persuasive when he suggested a 3 hour lunch break!  Apparently, the school is also lacking decorative mosaics – something the Romans would hope to rectify!  After an epic battle between Boudica and the Roman army and some impressive singing from 4M who used one of the songs to teach everyone in the hall Roman Numerals, the verdict was in!  4M voted that the school should be ruled by the Romans!

Thank you 4M for a very informative and entertaining assembly and to all the parents and carers who came along to watch.
