Year 6 Star Musician

Year 6 enjoyed a fantastic music day with visiting star musician Roseanna at the end of last half term. She shared her journey into music, performed some of her own compositions, and inspired the children to create their own pieces using mood boards linked to their book Stormbreaker.

Winners of our album‑cover competition were rewarded with a special lunch with Roseanna.

In the afternoon, year 6 worked in groups and used untuned percussion or body percussion to develop and record their compositions, finishing the day with group performances to their classes and a final showcase for the whole year group.
