6D took their parents and carers, as well as the rest of the school, on a ‘train journey’ through their learning so far in year 6 during their class assembly. The children shared the books they’d enjoyed last half term as well as what they’d learnt about the second world war. They also shared the great art work they’d produced during Maths Day inspired by Kandinsky and their sculptures in the style of Henry Moore.
Even those children who weren’t there in person, as they were at a football competition, managed to make an appearance via video to share their basketball skills!
6D shared some of their goals and what they want to achieve in the future, finishing the assembly with an inspiring song!
Well done to all of 6D for a great assembly and thank you to all the parents and carers who came along to watch.
