6BH inspired everyone to pick up a book with their wonderful retelling of their class novel, Letter from the Lighthouse. Drawing on their learning about the Second World War, the children brought history to life as they shared what it might have been like to experience the Blitz and be evacuated to the countryside.
Through a range of writing, including poetry, diary entries and narrative work, the children showcased their impressive language skills and creativity. Their performance of Evacuate, alongside their striking artwork inspired by the style of Henry Moore, highlighted just how much learning and hard work has taken place this term.
Thank you, 6BH, for such an engaging and inspiring assembly.
