Year 6 trip to Skreens Park
Our year 6 children had a great time when they visited Skreens Park in Chelmsford.
The children enjoyed working together as a team as well as challenging themselves as individuals.
Year 6 has been learning about the fossilisation process. After studying a range of fossils, the children used clay, plaster of Paris and shells to create their own fossil mould. Each class enjoyed using excavation tools to chip away at the clay; they developed their resilience and determination in order to retrieve the fossil fully intact!
