Our year 5 children had a great time during their recent Ancient Greek Day!
The children enjoyed painting the clay heads of mythical creatures and applying their drawing skills to sketching their friends in different sporting poses! The children also created their own ancient Greek music using glockenspiels and decorated their own Greek tile to be added to a class mural.
The day culminated with the children participating in Hamstel's own Ancient Greek Olympics!
The children had a great time, excitedly cheering on their classmates and trying their hardest to win their event. It was fantastic to see the children really immersing themselves in the day and wearing some amazing costumes; everyone had a brilliant day!
