Year 4 Roman Day

Year 4 stepped back in time this week when they spent the day as Romans! Marvellous History really helped to bring this period of history alive for the children as they met and learnt all about the Roman soldier Gaius Maximus!  The children had a great time exploring artefacts from the time, dressing up in armour, chariot racing and mastering Roman battle formations.

Thank you to everyone who helped the children to create such fantastic Roman outfits; they really added to the experience!
