As part of the Hares About Town public art event, a sculpture of a leveret (a young hare) was purchased for the Hamstel Schools by Southchurch High School.
Congratulations to James Bambrook who produced the winning design for the sculpture. James' winning design is titled 'The Storyteller'; the photos of the finished leveret certainly tell a story!
Well done to all of the children who entered the competition and to the artists in each class who worked in small groups to realise James' vision. Thank you also goes to Ms Bradley, who coordinated the painting of the leveret.
