6A shared what they have been learning this term through the 'BBC's' Hamstel Studio. Their topic, Conflict and Co-operation, was explored through the book Parvana’s Journey, which they have been reading in class. From their moving cinquain poems to their weather forecasts for Kabul and Southend, the reporters showcased some impressive knowledge and creativity.
Their science and health feature highlighted just how much the children have learnt about the importance of maintaining both physical and mental well-being. It will certainly be interesting to tune in to the next instalment to discover which types of exercise raise our heart rates the most!
The assembly concluded with the class singing Lean on Me, celebrating the message that kindness, respect, and caring for one another help us appreciate our differences and make the most of every opportunity to support each other.
Thank you, 6A, for a fascinating assembly.
