4H shared what they have been learning this term with the rest of the school and their parents and carers during their class assembly. The children started their performance with an Abba song as an introduction to the ‘star’ of their assembly – Boudica! The children impressed with their historical knowledge about the Iceni queen and shared some great writing which included similes, relative clauses and ‘show not tell’. The images the children had produced in their computing lessons showed not only their IT skills but also what some of them would look like as a Roman soldier or Boudica herself. 4H then shared some of their language skills in their French tea room followed by their science learning about how to look after their teeth. The assembly finished with the song ‘Like a Roman’ – a great way to end a very informative assembly.
