3E took a journey back to the time of the pharaohs during their class assembly on Friday. Based on their book, A Mummy Ate My Homework, the children endeavoured to answer all of Henry’s questions about Ancient Egypt! From the children’s maps of Egypt, posters they’d created in computing lessons, mummified fruit, canopic jars made of clay and writing based on the book, the audience got a real insight into the work the children have been doing in class.
The assembly finished with the children sharing their ‘amazing Egyptian song’.
Well done to all of 3E and thank you to all the parents and carers who came along to watch.
