Dragon's Den Competition

When we went to Alexandra Palace for the Anti bullying event we entered a dragons den competition. We knew that the judges were looking for anti-bullying idea that involved technology. We decided that we would present our idea to the judges in the form of a rap. We filmed this before we went.

On the day we had to go up on stage in front of an audience and the Dragons (these were panellists, not real dragons!) We showed them our rap and described our idea to the Dragons. When we went on stage my knees were knocking, my heart was racing, my head was pounding, my face was as red as a strawberry, but we gave it our best shot. Once we had started our nervousness decreased and we got into our stride.

At the end of the afternoon, there was a showcase of all the events that had been taking place throughout the day. It was at this point that the results of the Dragons den competition was announced. While we were waiting for the results we all sat with our fingers crossed, we were praying that ours would be the school that was chosen. When they read our name out and declared that we were the winners. I was over the moon and I wanted to scream and explode with happiness and joyfulness. We were filled with enthusiasm and cant wait to get started producing our animation.
