What is the 11+?
The 11+ is a series of tests sat by children to gain a place in year 7 at several local schools. The purpose of the 11+ test is to select the children who have the potential to thrive in an environment which provides a highly academic curriculum and a range of challenging pursuits.
Please click here to watch a presentation from Mr Goddard where he explains about the 11+ process and considerations that need to be taken into account by parents and carers who are considering a place at a selective school for their child.
Please note that this was filmed last year so the dates and familiarisation sessions will be slightly different this year.
